Two boys. One cursed tackle box. And zero warning before they vanish into something impossible.
Josh and Cody were just killing time—skating, dodging practice, chasing girls, and avoiding snacks labeled "expired-ish." But when they tag along to an estate sale on a hill rumored to be cursed, they stumble across a mysterious wooden box covered in stickers from ancient ruins and mystery cults.
It doesn't open. Until it does. And when it does, it glows. And when it glows, it pulls. And when it pulls, you're not in your town anymore.

Chapter Opening
"I can burp to G- now," Josh boasted.
A seated teenager cracked up, stabilizing his tethering skateboard on the wooden porch stairs.
"Nah, you can't."
"Wait- watch?" Gesturing, he gulped his carbonated drink belching A through F.
"AAAaa- BBBB- CCC- DD- Eee-f."
Swiping the can from his challenger Cody guzzled the remainder erupting, "Told ya- AAA-Aaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Overturning the challenger, in his longest deliverance ever! Josh conceded, "Whoa!" "Dude- It's almost time for my baseball practice. Let's not go? I am the star player!" He punched out his teenage chest presumingly. "Hey- no way! Isn't your new girlfriend coming? She might bring her friend. Umm- we're going!" Blushing he recalled, "Sadie- that's right? Let's roll!" Popping up on his board, Cody skated down the brick incline. Landing the driveway; he detected Josh motioning. Without a board Josh exclaimed, "What the heck!" Cody skidded into a 360 degree stop. Stumbling backwards he created a projectile. The launched board barely missed Josh's head, knocking a garden gnome's ear off. "Oh-frick?" Josh stunningly exclaimed, looking at the retired board and the earless elf.
...and so begins an adventure that will take Josh and Cody far from their familiar world of skate parks and baseball practice...
